Delfina Brea and Bea Gonzalez are the first semi-finalists of Milano Premier Padel P1. The Argentinean and the Spaniard, seeded number 3 in the women’s draw, defeated 6-1 6-4 in one hour and 27’ Claudia Jensen Sirvent and Veronica Virseda (8). The Madrid Premier queens started the match very well, leaving their opponents no chance in the first set.
The second one was more balanced, and in the end all the quality of the players better placed on the scoreboard came through. “The second set was very complicated – said Bea –, but we played a good match and we are happy to be in the semifinals of such an important tournament”. Also in the stands was the family of Delfi Brea, who turned 24 on Tuesday. Tomorrow, on the road to the final, Josemaria/Sanchez (1) or Icardo/Riera (5).
