Lebron’s message to young padel layers: “Enthusiasm and willingness to fight to become champions”

A sport that teaches commitment and dedication, but also makes a significant contribution to the growth of young individuals through the healthier values of sportsmanship. Juan Lebron, one of the strongest padel players in history, spoke about it after his debut victory at the Milan Premier Padel P1, paired with Alejandro Galan. The Spaniard visited the stand of the Minister for Sports – with the contribution of the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service – as part of the activations endorsed by the National Youth Card. Right here, in a space dedicated to the youth, Lebron explained the beauty of being a padel player: “I advise all young people to approach the ‘pala’ because it’s a sport full of values on and off the field,” he said. As an established professional, ‘El Lobo’ gave some advice to those who dream of becoming a great champion like him. “If you have enthusiasm and a willingness to fight, I say go for it, especially if you start young and have more opportunities to become professionals. As a player, I can only encourage them because with padel, you can have a beautiful, complete, and fulfilling life experience from many perspectives, always keeping in mind the deepest values of sports.”

Juan also shared his feelings when facing such an important tournament like the one in Milan: “I’m usually very nervous, already on the plane that takes me to the place where I have to play. The truth is, I’m eager to get on the court, and I’m very focused. At first, I only move to go train or play, eat, and return to the hotel. But if possible, I like to explore the city hosting us, soak in some atmosphere and culture, and this helps me disconnect a bit and experience the tournament better.” In addition to padel, Lebron continues, “I love spending time with my friends, going out with them. Then I enjoy practicing many other sports, like tennis and football, and recently even karting, but in this case, taking it very easy,” he concludes.
